A Bowl o' Bamboo Shoot Noodle
The presentation doesn't look good, but it's definitely GOOD!
This is a very labor intensive kind of noodle soup to make. The bamboo shoots need to be boiled several times, and changing the water in between.
With a little bit of fried garlic, a little bit of fried ginger, the zesty taste of a squeezed lime and tasty wholesome broth together, plus fresh scallions, herbs and hot sauce make this a very excellent vegetarian noodle dish!
With soft tofus hiding among large al-dente strands of noodles, and tender, perfectly cooked bamboo shoots, this is the bowl to dig in. And when you're done, you can't helped it, but have to go back for more.

Sweet Potato Pizza
Spinach, caramelized onions, feta, sweet potato, chili flakes
One of my favorite pizzas, especially coming from Emma's in Kendall Sq.
So good, I can eat it all day!
Next time, maybe I can make sweet potato stuffed crust pizza. ^_^ Maybe not...
Oh! A little lemon juice on the spinach really makes it taste good and vibrant.

Caramelized Pears Pizza
Crunchy nuts...
Creamy blue cheese...
Soft caramelized onions...
Sweet grilled pears...
A fresh squeeze of lemon juice...
Mmm...
(Though, a better version is with apricot stilton cheese from Trader Joe's rather than blue cheese. Just add it after the pizza comes out of the oven so the stilton doesn't melt.)

My First Potato Pizza
FAILED:
1. Forgot to buy cheese!
2. Bad crust- but it was sourdough. (Still trying to figure out a sourdough pizza dough.)
3. No herbs! Only potato slices (cooked), onions, and some green stuff that I don't remember what it is now.
Roasted Grape-Pear Dessert Pizza
Good pizza dough with thinly sliced bosc pears and roasted grapes on top.
I like this one better.

Rosemary Garlic Focaccia
One of my favorite breads.
The garlic, sea salt, rosemary and olive oil just make this bread so good!
Smells amazing as it's baking too.

My first bread!
This was my first attempt at making bread at home. Gotta say it was very labor intensive, but I really loved it. My niece did too!
I don't have any special cookie cutters, so I used a cup for the face, a bottle cap for the nose, and the nose circles cut into quarters for ears. And peppercorns for eyes!
